(<a href=\"http:\/\/nh3fuelassociation.org\/introduction\/\">NH3 powered schoolbus<\/a>\u00a0pictured below)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/readyforanything.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bus.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1335\" src=\"https:\/\/readyforanything.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bus.jpeg\" alt=\"bus\" width=\"419\" height=\"292\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gordon uses NH3 to power his own truck and equipment at his farm in Canada.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rve\" data-content-width=\"640\"><iframe title=\"Green Gas\/Fuel\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cjp9YI4_QHo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><!-- Responsive Video Embeds plugin by www.kevinleary.net --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even the great German engineer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Rudolf-Diesel\">Rudolf Diesel<\/a>\u00a0inventor of the engine of the same name used ammonia in an experimental engine and saw it as a viable fuel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/readyforanything.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Diesel.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1337\" src=\"https:\/\/readyforanything.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Diesel.jpg\" alt=\"Diesel\" width=\"437\" height=\"291\" srcset=\"https:\/\/readyforanything.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Diesel.jpg 540w, https:\/\/readyforanything.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Diesel-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 437px) 100vw, 437px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gordon&#8217;s invention was born from his need of a new and inexpensive method to produce ammonia, a critical component in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He began to research methods on ammonia manufacturing and designed an apparatus in 2009 that could make it in small quantities. \u00a0He patented the device and over the next few years worked\u00a0to refine and improve it\u00a0with a team of engineers. \u00a0In 2012, Gordon&#8217;s work paid off.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His invention was theoretically able to produce up to 500 litres per day at a cost of less than $.50 cents per litre. \u00a0It was also a relatively small refrigerator sized unit that could easily be stored in a garage, basement or, any well ventilated area and; could be powered by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.altenergy.org\/renewables\/renewables.html\">renewable energy<\/a>\u00a0power generation systems. When used, its by-products are\u00a0nitrogen and water vapor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It costs less to produce than petroleum based\u00a0fuels\u00a0and, we already have an infrastructure in place that can easily process, store and distribute it. \u00a0 Regular gas stations can be easily converted to use NH3 along with cars, trains and aircraft. NH3 is also comparably safer than gasoline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Informing the world about the benefits of NH3 and Gordon&#8217;s revolutionary Green Gas Machine is an important step in helping to move the industrialized &amp; developing world away from environmentally destructive petroleum based fossil fuels toward a clean, carbon-neutral alternative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gordon is hoping that his efforts with Edwards and others can help to attract a company or industrialist with the resources to help prepare his invention for mass production. \u00a0Gordon says, &#8220;my invention\u00a0can decentralize fuel production and place it in the hands of the people to help them become independent from the fuel companies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He adds, &#8220;If enough people had it, it would help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. \u00a0That would impact against climate change.
